Privacy policy
This document explains how thongnow ("we") collects and uses information about visitors to thongnow.com ("you") under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
During Phase 0 (pre-launch) thongnow collects only statistical visit data via Google Analytics 4: device type, browser language, pages viewed, session duration, and approximate IP (held by Cloudflare for security and abuse mitigation). We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal data at this stage. When Phase 1 ships price alerts, we will store an email address or Web Push subscription only if the user opts in.
2. Cookies
The site uses cookies from Google Analytics 4 for statistical measurement only. You may refuse cookies via your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
3. Third parties
We rely on the following processors, and your data may be processed under each provider's policy: Google Analytics (visit analytics) and Cloudflare (network and security). Our gold-price reference source receives no information about our users.
4. Retention
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics per its retention window (up to 14 months). IP addresses logged by Cloudflare are retained per Cloudflare's window (up to 30 days).
5. Your rights under PDPA
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to the processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The most recent effective date appears at the top of this page.
